The California Rodeo Salinas is kicking off their annual festivities a bit earlier than usual with Blake Shelton, one of country music’s biggest stars, headlining the 2025 Big Week Kick Off Concert on Friday, June 27th. Known for his chart-topping hits, larger-than-life personality, and role as a longtime coach on The Voice, Shelton has captivated fans worldwide with his dynamic performances and undeniable talent.

With 29 #1 singles, 52 million singles and 13 million albums sold and nearly 11 billion Global Streams, Shelton has received numerous awards, including six ACMs, three AMAs, ten CMAs, 11 CMTs and six People’s Choice, among many others. He is currently climbing the country charts with his new single “Texas.”

Ticket prices are
- $60 for grandstand seats (ages 2+)
- $90 for standing floor tickets (ages 2+)
- $105 for box seats (all ages).
Venue: Salinas Sports Complex (1034 N. Main Street, Salinas, CA 93906).
Parking: $30 per vehicle.

The concert is presented by Taylor Farms and produced by the California Rodeo Salinas and David Drew Productions with support from media partners KSBW TV 8 and Central Coast ABC and KTOM 92.7FM.

Opening Act - Red Shahan

Red Shahan is a future American legend with potential to conquer the world, least his wife, three kids, and close friends know so. Born in Bluff Dale, Texas back sometime in the early eighties, Red is an avid outdoorsman and dedicated Leatherman owner. He loves a good pachanga and can do several jumping jacks in a row. He used to rodeo at Western Texas College and got his start singing country songs in Lubbock, Texas. Heavily influenced by AC/DC and the Indigo Girls, his new songs and record sound nothing like them at all. Red is the real deal. Only a fool would miss an opportunity to dive into his songs.
