In 2011 the Los Amigos Del Rodeo (Friends of the Rodeo) club was established to help raise funds to make improvements to the Salinas Sports Complex, home of the California Rodeo Salinas. To date, the Los Amigos del Rodeo club has raised approximately $275,000 since its inception!
The Los Amigos Del Rodeo club is an exclusive group limited to 80 memberships, each allowing two
individuals. Annual dues are $2,000, and the organization operates as a
501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit.
Each membership includes entrance to the Members Only LADR VIP Room, Daily Box Seats, parking passes and a Friday night members only after party featuring live music by The Money Band.
Once you are checked in to the L.A.D.R. VIP Room, each day will present you with a different and incredible dining experience, as well as all the premium alcohol you can drink and daily live entertainment! Our LADR team focuses on giving you the best service in our air conditioned, upscale VIP room while you enjoy the Rodeo performance on one of the big screen TV’s.

Additionally, the LADR hosts an annual member dinner that gives Los Amigos Del Rodeo members the unique opportunity to vote as to where their sponsorship money is allocated.
Over the last several years our members have funded an impressive number of worthy projects that include:
- Re-roofed the Cowboy Hospital
- Replaced light fixtures over the bucking chutes
- Re-roofed the Facilities Office
- Installed new bathroom hand dryers
- Refinished floors in the Exhibition Mall
- Repaired arena wiring
- Repaired stripping chute pens
- Installed a new awning and made repairs in the Heritage
Museum
- Repaired rough stock pens
- Expanded and improved the Contestant Center
- Donated to the PRU Stadium Project
- Donated to Tatum’s Garden
- Updated museum lighting
- Replaced water heater
