Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith, presented by
Taylor Farms, entertained a crowd of 14,540 people Friday night during the Big
Week kick off concert. Fans of all ages sang along to “Dude looks like a Lady,”
“Don’t want to miss a Thing,” and the finale during the encore “Sweet Emotion.”
Part of their Blue Army Tour, the stop in Salinas did not disappoint. Living
Colour opened for the rockers, getting the crowd revved up. The concert is a
kick off to Big Week, the week that the California Rodeo Salinas takes place in
Salinas. Events like Cowboy Poetry, Parades, the Carnival, Professional Bull
