SALINAS, CA, May 22, 2013 – Gold Star Motors presents the 4th annual Central Coast Motorsports Spectacular on Sunday August 11th. The Salinas Sports Complex will be the spot for non-stop motorsports action as Monster Trucks and Motocross Jumpers join the Truck and Tractor Pulls to entertain the crowd starting at 2pm that day. Tickets go on sale Thursday May 23rd at 10am at the Salinas Sports Complex Box Office at 1034 N. Main Street in Salinas. Coors is sponsoring the Monster Truck event with eight Monster Trucks competing in the arena full of crushed cars and dirt ramps. The Motocross Jumpers, sponsored by Drew-Massa Transportation, will take jumps off of ramps that are over ten feet tall and fly at least 90 feet through the air hitting tricks before they land their jumps. New this year, the Truck and Tractor Pulls sponsored by the Laurel Inn & Conference Center feature different classes of trucks and tractors showcasing their horsepower as they pull a two ton sled across the dirt floor.
