Night two of the California Rodeo Salinas brought a crowd of 15,719 out to the Salinas Sports Complex, an increase of 5.85% over 2017.
In the arena Zach Hibler is leading the first round of Bareback Riding with 86 points on Bar T Rodeo’s One Sock, Billy Bugenig is leading the Steer Wrestling with a time of 6.7 seconds, Colton Campbell and Jordan Ketscher are leading the first round of the Team Roping with a time of 7.2 seconds, Ryder Wright is leading the first round of the Saddle Bronc Riding with 86.5 points on Corey & Lange Rodeo’s Pine Ridge, Monty Lewis is leading the first round in the Tie Down Roping with a time of 11.4 seconds, Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi is leading the first round of the Barrel Race with a time of 16.3 and Boudreaux Campbell is leading the first round of the Bull Riding with a score of 86 points on Corey & Lange Rodeo’s Whiskey In a Bottle.
Weston Rutkowski won the 2nd round of the freestyle bullfights with a score of 85.5. John Payne’s long horn act wowed the crowd while Trent McFarland made everyone laugh and Church Brothers’ Lettuce Maximus won the produce mascot race.
