Due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 and expanding restrictions on domestic and international travel, and in accordance with national, state and local governments prohibiting large group gatherings, the Monster Jam event scheduled on May 31, 2020 at the Salinas Sports Complex in Salinas, CA has been cancelled. Fans can save the date for Monster Jam on May 2nd, 2021 at the Salinas Sports Complex.
The California Rodeo Association is monitoring COVID-19 updates and is hopeful that the efforts to slow the spread of the virus are successful and other events scheduled at the Salinas Sports Complex and surrounding areas during Big Week in July will move forward as planned. Salinas Sports Complex General Manager Jim Slaten said, “These are trying times for everyone and it saddens us to cancel one of our largest one-day community events, but health and safety guidelines must be followed in order to protect the public.” Ongoing updates can also be found at www.CARODEO.com or by following @carodeosalinas on social media.
