The California Rodeo Association is thrilled to announce two exciting nights of live music during Big Week, set to entertain the community with unforgettable performances. Tickets are selling fast for the concerts on Friday, July 12th, and Saturday, July 13th at the Salinas Sports Complex.
**Big Week Kick Off Concert – Friday, July 12th**
Kicking off the festivities on Friday, July 12th, is the Big Week Kick Off Concert featuring Country Mega Star Keith Urban, with special guests Niko Moon and Claudia Hoyser. Keith Urban, one of the most successful and well-respected artists globally, boasts over 43 Top 10 singles and more than 100 million Spotify streams. Niko Moon brings a feel-good, fun vibe perfect for a summer concert, while Claudia Hoyser, who opened for Little Big Town in 2023, is excited to return to Salinas. Hoyser will also perform at the after-party immediately following the concert (a separate $43 ticket is required).
Tickets start at $57 for grandstand seats, $90 for standing floor, and $110 for box seats. The concert is presented by Taylor Farms and produced by the California Rodeo Salinas and David Drew Productions, with support from media partners KSBW TV 8, Central Coast ABC, and KTOM 92.7FM.
**Concierto Baile de Salinas – Saturday, July 13th**
On Saturday, July 13th, the Concierto Baile de Salinas will feature an all-star lineup with Los Tucanes de Tijuana, El Fantasma, and Chiquis performing at the Salinas Sports Complex. Produced by the California Rodeo Salinas, David Drew Productions, and NOK Entertainment, the concert is presented by Tequila Alderete. Gates open at 4 pm for this stellar event. Tickets start at $58 for general admission grandstand, $95 for standing floor or box seats, and $204 for VIP.
The official after-party, El After, will take place in the Coors Banquet Bull Xing Cantina (north end of the midway at the Salinas Sports Complex) from 10 pm to 1 am, featuring more music and dancing. Tickets start at $70.

**Los Tucanes de Tijuana** – This Mexican norteño band, led by Mario Quintero Lara, was founded in Tijuana, Baja California in 1987. They have received numerous awards, including a Latin Grammy in 2012 for the album "365 días," five Grammy Award nominations, nine Lo Nuestro Awards nominations, and multiple BMI Awards for Quintero as a composer.
**El Fantasma** – Known as "The King of the Underground," Mexican regional singer and songwriter Alexander Garcia has captivated audiences since his teen years. His debut single, “Mi 45,” released in early 2016, garnered over ten million views. His debut album, "Equipo Armado," soared up the Mexican airplay charts, followed by three more albums in the same year: "En Vivo Desde Badiraguato," "Pa’ los Recuerdos, Vol. 1," and "Vengo a Aclarar."
**Chiquis** – Regional Mexican superstar Chiquis enjoyed a successful 2023 with the release of two albums ("Chiquis En Vivo Desde Lunario Ciudad De México" and "Bee Side"), multiple sold-out concerts on her Abeja Reina Part II Tour through Mexico and the United States, and hit singles, including a #1 radio single in Mexico. Her year began with a nomination for "Best Regional Mexican Music Album" at the 2023 GRAMMY Awards for "Abeja Reina," which previously won the 2022 Latin GRAMMY for "Best Banda Album."
