A sold-out crowd of over 10,400 people watched the Big Week Bull Riding Xtreme Bulls event at the Salinas Sports Complex tonight. Presented by Salinas Valley Ford, the Big Week Bull Riding continues to be one of the most popular events held each July, selling out from 2015- 2019, 2022, and 2023.
Luke Mast covered two bulls to win the championship – he scored 81 points on Try Me from All in Pro Rodeo and 85.5 points on Stand By Me from Corey & Lange. Rancho San Lucas sponsored the championship buckle.
Tickets are available for the upcoming California Rodeo Salinas July 18th -21st twenty-four hours a day at www.carodeo.com. Thursday, July 18th is Bucking Cancer night at the Rodeo. Fans can bring an empty Coca Cola bottle or can to the gate after 10 am to receive a $5 admission ticket. Gates open at 4 pm and the show starts at 6 pm.
