The 114th California Rodeo Salinas concluded with a thrilling Championship Sunday, drawing a crowd of over 16,400 enthusiastic fans. The day, known as Crown Royal Day of Champions, celebrated the top competitors across various rodeo events, awarding coveted buckles to the winners.
Rial Engelhart clinched the all-around title, winning money in both tie-down roping and team roping. The bareback riding title went to Cole Franks, while Levi Rudd took top honors in steer wrestling. In team roping, the duo of Erich Rogers and Paul Eaves came out on top. Wyatt Casper secured the saddle bronc riding championship, and Jeter Lawrence dominated in bull riding. Tiany Schuster excelled in barrel racing, and Martha Angelone triumphed in breakaway roping. Additionally, Daniel Green and Cody Cowden won the gold card team roping, and Hank Brown and Gary Ford claimed the gold card incentive team roping title.
