The Clem Albertoni Cowboy Gathering, hosted by the California Rodeo Salinas, is a vibrant celebration of Western heritage and culture set for Saturday, March 29, 2025. The entertainment will include customary cowboy music by Trinity Seely and lively poetry by Andy Nelson. Tickets go on sale online at 10 a.m. on October 10th for $80, which includes a steak dinner with all the fixings, two live performers, and a silent auction. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner is served at 6 p.m., and the entertainment begins at 7 p.m.
Seely performed at the 2023 Cowboy Gathering showcasing her sincere and authentic voice singing about her life experiences as a cowgirl and beyond. She has performed at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering and many other well-known cowboy music and poetry events and received outstanding reviews in Western Horseman, Ranch and Reata, True West, and other publications. Nelson, a second-generation farrier, combines his expertise, skills, and humor to deliver genuine and engaging entertainment to any audience. This energetic cowboy poet and humorist has received the Male Poet of the Year numerous times from the Western Music Association.
The event is held in memory of long-time master of ceremonies and cowboy poet Clem Albertoni who passed away in 2021. Albertoni, a local legend in Monterey County, was involved with the event for years. Donors supporting this event are welcome as the California Rodeo Salinas strives to keep the traditions of the West alive.
