Night two at the Rodeo Gets Two Thumbs Up
Fight Hunger NIght brough 11 Produce Mascots to the Track

Night two of the 104th California Rodeo Salinas got two thumbs up from fans. Mutton Busting, fireworks and trick riding were a big hit. 11,961 people attended to watch the Rodeo and track action. Attendance was up 391 tickets, up 3.4%, from the Friday per-formance in 2013. The Produce Mascot Race, stole the show on the track to benefit Ag Against Hunger. Mascots from Bengard Ranches, Chiquita Brands International, Church Brothers, Dole Fresh Vegetables, Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Ocean Mist Farms, Pacific In-ternational Marketing, Sakata Seed, Tanimura & Antle, Taylor Farms and The Nunes Company raced down the track with Church
Brothers’ Lettuce Maximus once again taking the glory. The race benefitted Ag Against Hunger.

Jesse and Spencer Wright are sitting 1st and 2nd in the Saddle Bronc Riding. Jesse is the defending Salinas Saddle Bronc Champion. Elliott Jacoby and Trey Benton III, the defending Salinas 2013 Champ, are splitting 1st in the Bull Riding. Click the link above for full rodeo results.
