The Salinas Sports Complex Box Office opens for the 2015 season on Monday April 6^th at 10am. Tickets will be available for multiple events including: California Rodeo Salinas that runs July 16^th-19^th, the Professional Bull Riding on Wednesday July 15^th and Monster Jam on Sunday May 17^th. Tickets can be purchased by calling 800-549-4989 or walking up to the box office at 1034 N. Main Street in Salinas between 10am and 6pm Monday through Friday or by visiting www.carodeo.com or www.tickets.com any time.

The California Rodeo Salinas offers all day family friendly entertainment at affordable prices. Children ages 2-12 receive general admission or reserved grandstand tickets for only $7.* Adult general admission grandstand tickets are $14* and reserved grandstand tickets are $20* each.  Call the Box Office for information about season tickets which include the same seats over all four days of the Rodeo. The Rodeo features non-stop action as events take place simultaneously on the track and in the arena. The top professional cowboys compete in team roping, steer wrestling, tie down roping, bull riding, bareback riding and saddle bronc riding in the arena while clowns, trick riders and barrel racers perform on the track. Cowboy Kenny’s Steel Rodeo Tour will be back this year with motorcycle jumpers flying over the track to entertain fans of all ages. Gates open at 4pm on Thursday July 16^th and Friday July 17^th with the show starting at 6pm each night. Saturday July 18^th and Sunday July 19^th the gates will open at 10am with the show starting at 1:15pm daily.  Beyond the arena and track performances, there is a saloon and cantina, midway with shopping and food vendors, kids corral and more to keep guests entertained.

2015 marks the 15^th anniversary of the Professional Bull Riding event taking place in Salinas. The upgraded Velocity Tour event, presented by Salinas Valley Ford, is bringing higher caliber, more talented bull riders who are working their way up the PBR ranks and feisty bulls that will treat the crowd to non-stop bull riding action. Gates open at 5pm and the show starts at 7pm. Grandstand tickets start at $10* for children ages 2-12 and are $25* to $35* depending on the row for adults; Box Seats are $55* for each seat regardless of age. The Professional Bull Riding event sold out in 2014 so enthusiasts are encouraged to purchase tickets early.

Monster Jam is every truck-loving kid’s or adult’s dream event.  Giant trucks will be freestyling and racing in the arena, jumping over demolished cars and more. Tickets are all reserved with prices as follows: $12* for children ages 2-12, $24* for adults and Box Seats at $35 each regardless of age. Tickets are $2 more the day of the show if there are still tickets available, the show has sold out prior to the event date for the past several years so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early. Gates will open at 12pm on Sunday May 17^th and the show starts at 2pm.

Mega rock band Aerosmith is playing at the Salinas Sports Complex on Friday July 10^th.  Tickets went fast during the first on-sale day in early February, but the artist may be releasing production holds sometime in mid-April, possibly producing more seats for public purchase. Visit www.tickets.com to purchase tickets or contact the Box Office during business hours of 10am-6pm, Monday-Friday, after April 6th.

Other California Rodeo Salinas ticketed events coming up include a Barn Dance on Saturday April 11^th, a ‘Passport to Pendleton’ Whisky Tasting on Friday April 24^th and Cowboy Music and Poetry Gathering on Sunday July 12^th.
